I love God more than ever

He died for us. His nail-pierced hands speak it all. So why should we not give Him the worship and adoration that are due?

Jesus, You are the ONLY ONE in the universe who died for me. So Lord, i thank You, and i will worship You till the end.

Is it so hard to walk this walk with God?

Ask yourself, when you embark on this journey with God, did you think that it was going to be forever or for a moment?

Or in your mind, you thought, "Hey, i might give up on God one day."

Do you not know that our walk with God is not a short-distance run, but a marathon?

If you decide to not come church one day and stop obeying God one day, then i have a few questions to ask,

1. What happened to all the singing of song lyrics like "I will follow wherever You send me Lord!", or "God You are the One, the only Way!", or "God be the Solution!" Were all these singing just a moment of "emotions"?

2. What happened to whatever you have read in the Bible? Verses like, "Satan comes and steal, kill and destroy.", "Do not give up meeting one another.." etc?

3. What happened to all the miracles that God has shown you? What happened to those prayers that God has answered?

Do all these count for nothing?

Can one just say, "God, i am leaving you and Your people.", and walk away without thinking how deep their faith was in the first place?

If you can walk away in from God and His people in a day, then i can surely say to you, that your faith was NEVER based on the Sure Foundation, The Rock.

Because if your faith was built on the Sure Foundation, then you would not walk away in one day, and disobey God in your anger.

If it happens to me one day, then i will also know that my faith was nothing but a moment of emotions, as fragile as glass.

What am i so afraid of?

So here i go again, talking about the rain, more than all the things, that won't live past today.

And as i danced around the truth, time is not his friend.

This might be my last chance to tell him that You love him.

my friends, 

are we going to share the Gospel only when our loved ones are on their death beds?

time is not our friend.

each day might be THE LAST DAY to tell our loved ones about God, the Light.

so when we are with our friends, our families, what do we talk about?

do we talk about clothes, food, fashion, work on and on and on when we are with our loved ones? 

do we not know that these things are temporary?

do we bring these things with us when we lie in that cold old box?

no! we bring nothing!

but our loved ones' spirits are eternal, and we must see the where their souls' are heading - heaven or hell.

let us not dance around the truth for too long. let us dive into the truth, act out truth and speak it out.

let our loved ones know Jesus, and experience His love, peace, and joy, and so much more life!

Things young people like to do NOW(i was young before!)

1. Go King Abert's Park Macdonalds study for Examinations! (i did it before!)

2. Walk around town, even though might not have much cash in the pocket.

3. Listen to "emo" songs, and immerse in sadness and despair.

4. Have "cool", "fun" Sentosa class outings.

5. Watch movies and talk about them.

6. Play Basketball, Soccer, Badminton after school at Void Deck.

7. Hang around shopping malls in town or neighbourhood malls.

I have a testimony to share.

I think it was Tuesday, that something really bad happened.

I was helping my Commander (A General) keep his things in his car boot. So i conveniently put his car keys inside the boot as i placed his things in the boot.

Then to my horror, the boot closed in on me, with his car keys inside.

What was more stressful was that my boss needed to use his car in half hour's time!

At the back of my head i heard God's voice telling me to tell my boss the truth first, and then see how it goes. But i was too stressed, and worried that my boss would get angry. So without informing my boss first, i went to call a locksmith to rush down to my camp.

I immediately SMSed Kongsheng to pray for me. I prayed myself too. I felt desperate for God's intervention.

So then, the locksmith came late. They tried to open my boss' car. As every minute passed, i felt more and more worried. I prayed, "God, please don't let anything bad happen."

Then it came to the time when my boss needed to use his car. So can you imagine his shock when he came down and saw 2 men trying to PRY open his precious Lexus Car? He walked forward, looked at me strangely and asked the men what they were doing.

So i explained myself desperately and he asked, "Why didn't you inform me first?" Oh man, that was what God told me to do! In the end, he told the men to leave, paid $150 (demanded by the men who did not even manage to open the door), and told me to call a cab for him to go home to take his keys.

So as i walked my BIG BOSS out to the gate, and out of camp to wait for the cab, i felt worse by the second. If you know, BIG BOSSES NEVER walk out of camp gates. They drive their big cars. I felt really bad.

When my boss came back, i insisted that i pay for my mistake monetarily. But he refused, telling me to treat this as a lesson.

I thank God then. God is always Merciful. He displayed His grace and mercy through my boss. My boss could have scolded me upside down, and told me to write a report. I mean, come on, HE IS at least 15 RANKS above me, a small corporal.

Thinking back, i should have listened to God's voice. He would have saved me alot of trouble. It is always human nature to do it our way. But God's WAY is the best!
