the Pretender and Liar

John8:44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

beware of him! lest you fall! he lies and he tells you, "hey go take a rest, don't read your bible, don't pray!"

"you have prayed for soo long! why bother!"

"i think you should just skip church this once. its getting boring!"

"do it, why not? no one is seeing!"

2 Corinthians 11:14 (New International Version)

14And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades (pretends) as an angel of light.
satan will make you think they you are making the RIGHT DECISION sometimes. like skipping church once, like skipping cell activities now and then, like not reading your Bible sometimes, like skipping one unit of Exp God. be careful!

the inner beauty rather

looking at xiaxue, the famous blogger, (yea, the self-proclaimed beauty), i pity her.

when she first started out, she said that she was pretty, no matter who said what.

and she said that she WILL LOOK PRETTY only when she wears makeup.

so let me decipher this: if i am xiaxue, i will be saying this, "the real me, the original me, is not pretty at all. my mom did a mistake. my dad too. so i have to PUT ON MAKEUP to cover up this ugliness. well, the beauty that i have is literally MADE-UP"

plus she thinks wearing skimpy is cool and beautiful.

now, i can hear men who want a serious relationship puking and virtuous women with character sighing at her.

then she goes further.

she went for a NOSE-JOB. to adjust her nose so that it looks "prettier". she commented that her boyfriend loves her straight nose now.

but i thought she said she looked pretty with makeup. now she has to even do a nose job to make herself pretty.

so .. is she really pretty....

but thats not the point.

1Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his/her appearance or at the height of his/her stature, because I have rejected him/her; for God {sees} not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

i wish to tell xiaxue that the heart is the most important. not the outward beauty.

she might think and look as if she is pretty, doing fine and happy. but she might be struggling with even identity issues!

she might sound like what she is on her blog, look like what she is on the media, but the inside of her soul might most probably be empty and lost.

i don't wish to advertise for her, but she is a very good example of a person with perverted definitions of beauty.

christian girls are amazing.

i look at them (the truly God-worshipping ones). they are just amazing. no elaborate makeup, no elaborate clothes, no fakeness in them.

just the real her. with modest yet fashionable clothes. virtuous, with character, clear-headed, and purposeful!

let's try to put women or girls who wears skimpy, who is always adorning themselves with so MUCH THICK makeup, who always tries to impress with a nose job, cheek job etc, BESIDE those real christian women or girls.

i think these christian ladies look really cool and clearheaded!

i think christian girls and women should not be another britney spears or christina "aku gila" or madonna. looking at these "stars",(they surely are seeing stars in their lives) they stress so much on the outward appearance, the glamourous life, but their lives just suck.

they try to make a fashion statement but are fashion victims themselves, trying to follow fashion daily, trying to keep up.

a local magazine Editor once told us in our school that it is impossible to keep up with fashion. if women or men try to keep up with fashion on a regular basis, they might go mad.

the Bible says, Wise is the person who has control over his/her soul. Soul is your inner beauty. not your outward.

i applaud modest yet fashionable christian God-fearing women and girls!

you are truly with character and beautiful.

people, there is only ONE OF YOU and ME in this whole universe. we are already Originals. we do not have to wear this wear that, tattoo this tattoo that, take off this, take off that, to show that we are cool and original.

we are ALREADY ORIGINAL! plus, we are not made of plastic anyway.

*this article applies to men or boys who try to be what they are not too.

Interesting thoughts and words

The Atheist, the Pervert, the Criminal, And...

Segregation or separation is thus a basic principle of Biblical law with respect to religion and morality. Every attempt to destroy this principle is an effort to reduce society to its lowest common denominator. Toleration is the excuse under which this levelling is undertaken, but the concept of toleration conceals a radical intolerance. In the name of toleration, the believer is asked to associate on a common level of total acceptance with the atheist, the pervert, the criminal, and the adherents of other religions as though no differences existed.

R.J. Rushdoony, The Institutes of Biblical Law (Nutley, NJ: Craig Press, 1973), p. 294.

The Common Enemy

Christians are supposed to love each other. Communists are supposed to share bonds with all proletarians and other communists. Every ideological group proclaims universality, and all of them bicker internally, never displaying unity except in the face of a common enemy. Humanism today is the common enemy of Christians.

Gary North, Backward Christian Soldiers? An Action Manual For Christian Reconstruction (Tyler, TX: Institute for Christian Economics, 1984), p. 136.

Religious Liberty

So let us be blunt about it: we must use the doctrine of religious liberty to gain independence for Christian schools until we train up a generation of people who know that there is no religious neutrality, no neutral law, no neutral education, and no neutral civil government. Then they will get busy in constructing a Bible-based social, political and religious order which finally denies the religious liberty of the enemies of God.

Gary North, "The Intellectual Schizophrenia of the New Christian Right" in Christianity and Civilization: The Failure of the American Baptist Culture, No. 1 (Spring, 1982), p. 25.

World Conquest

Christians have an obligation, a mandate, a commission, a holy responsibility to reclaim the land for Jesus Christ - to have dominion in the civil structures, just as in every other aspect of life and godliness.

But it is dominion that we are after. Not just a voice.

It is dominion we are afier. Not just influence.

it is dominion we are after. Not just equal time.

It is dominion we are after.

World conquest. That's what Christ has commissioned us to accomplish. We must win the world with the power of the Gospel. And we must never settle for anything less.

If Jesus Christ is indeed Lord, as the Bible says, and if our commission is to bring the land into subjection to His Lordship, as the Bible says, then all our activities, all our witnessing, all our preaching, all our craftsmanship, all our stewardship, and all our political action will aim at nothing short of that sacred purpose.

Thus, Christian politics has as its primary intent the conquest of the land - of men, families, institutions, bureaucracies, courts, and governments for the Kingdom of Christ. It is to reinstitute the authority of God's Word as supreme over all judgments, over all legislation, over all declarations, constitutions, and confederations. True Christian political action seeks to rein the passions of men and curb the pattern of digression under God's rule.

The Mark of the Beast

The followers of the Beast, on the other hand, receive his mark of ownership: submission to ungodly, statist, antichristian law.

David Chilton, The Days of Vengeance: An Exposition of the Book of Revelation (Ft. Worth, TX: Dominion Press, 1984), p. 31.

Satan Will Not Win

Satan cannot win. Why not? Because he has denied God's sovereignty and disobeyed God's law. But Moses was told explicitly, God's blessings come only from obedience. Satan will not win because he has abandoned God's tool of dominion, biblical law.

Gary North, Backward Christian Soldiers? An Action Manual For Christian Reconstruction (Tyler, TX: Institute for Christian Economics, 1984), p. 48.

Don't Want This Kind of Message

if you are a pastor, and you don’t think your congregation wants to hear this kind of message, think about forming a new congregation. It won’t be difficult. Just start preaching like a prophet of God, and the losers will leave, or toss you out. Your income as a pastor is going to wipe you out anyway; better seek alternative income now, while you have the opportunity.

If you are a layman, and your pastor refuses to preach like a prophet, find a new church, or do what you can to get a new pastor. Being surrounded by Christian lemmings (grasshoppers, in Aesop’s fable) when the crisis hits will be unpleasant. You will need friends who are better prepared than lemmings in that dark day.

1 John 1:8-9 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we admit [we are indeed sinners], He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins...

 Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is by grace you will be saved, through faith (by believing in Him)—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. [For we are not justified] by good works, lest anyone boasts [about his self-centred righteousness].

are you convinced?

everyday i pray for my sister.

everyday i pray for my brother.

and most of the time, they don't realise that i love them and that i do pray for them.

maybe because of miscommunication. its either my fault, or maybe theirs.

but the truth is, i wan God to protect them, bless them, and that they will come to know God.

but when times get hard, when we quarrel, when my brother taunts the loving God that saved me from so so many things,

do i despair?

when my sister rejects Christ, and His love. when my sister refuses to pray for my mom when she is sick.

when my sister turns her heart away from God who changed our family and gave us joy.

when my brother continues in sin even when i pray for him everyday.

when they do not see my effort of trying to meet them for dinners, trying to talk to them,

do i give up?

do i say,"God, YOU are not answering my prayers!"

no i do not. because in all things, i am convinced, i truly am, that my God is a God of impossibilities.

am i praying blindly? nope.

i believe in my mind, He is powerful. He is mighty. i believe. i really do.

and i act it out. i pray and pray. i continue to pray and i do not give up.

giving up would mean that my God is not powerful enough. giving up would only show what an impatient person i am.

i love my sister and brother so much to give up praying. i am able to love them because Jesus Christ loved me first, and died for me.

i was not borned to really love them.

so i perservere, knowing that one day, God will bring them to worship Him.

nothing is too great for my God.

for since the foundations of the earth, God has loved my brother and sister, and i believe in that.

i pray in hope. i pray in faith. pray for me too, that they will come to know God.

Luke 17:6
He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.

Hebrews 10:36
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

James 5:11
As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

Romans 12:12
Listen to this passage

12Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

follow me, and pray continually for your struggles and unsaved families!

the Judgment

buddha did not say he was God. in fact, he said he was not God. he said he was NOT the way. he told people NOT TO WORSHIP him.

buddha even said, that the WAY will come after him. and that you will recognise THE SAVIOUR(OR THE WAY), by marks on His hands and feet.

Jesus had marks on His hands and feet, from the nails and the Cross. He was crucified to the Cross for our sin. Jesus came after buddha(prince Gurthama).

so today if you follow buddha when he told you he is not God and not The Way, where will you go when you die?

taoism is not a religion. taoism originally is about teachings, and balance of life. it was not suposed to be about gods, and goddesses. no "gods" in taoism ever said that they are gods. Humans made them gods.

so now, if you follow taoism, who are you following really? will these "gods" who never claim to be gods bring you to heaven or hell?

if you believe that you do not need any gods or God to bring you to heaven, that you can go to heaven with your own GOOD WORKS, and good merits, then you are very wrong too.

can you imagine when you die, you stand before God, a perfect God, a holy God, and say,"yes God, let me into heaven, i was a good person when i was alive."

God will then say,"since you claim to be good, when i say NO ONE IS GOOD IN MY WORD, then i will show you your own life in front of the whole human race, in front of all nations and peoples, and angels."

and then God will show you

how you threw a tantrum the minute you came out of your mother's womb,

how you snatch your toys from your siblings when you were nine,

how you were so disrespectful and rude to your parents when you were fifteen,

what you did in the secret when you were seventeen years old,

how you cut the queue when you were twenty,

how you pretend to be sleeping on the bus when you saw a pregnant lady when you were thirty,

how you cursed your friend in your mind and heart when you were fifty,

how you thought of stealing and robbing when you were sixty,

how you lust over girls when you were seventy and so on.

and God will ask you,"you call yourself good? you think you can justify yourself?"

then maybe by then you will have regretted and say to God," God, i am sorry, i know i cannot justify myself now. i cannot even justify myself with my own religion! i am a sinner. bring me to heaven please!"

but on that Day, God will say, "but i gave you YOUR WHOLE LIFE when you were on earth to make the choice to believe in Me. but you reject everytime my people come and tell you about the Name of Christ. do you remember?"

my friends, for all of us, when we die, have to stand before the Judgment seat of Christ, and account to Him.

if you choose to be judged by your own good works and your life, you will fail by any standards.

but if you choose to be judged by faith in Jesus Christ who took away our sins, you will be saved.

for it is by grace we have been saved, not through good works or religion, so that no one can BOAST.

pray pray pray pray x10000

tonight, i knelt down with my mother and prayed.

haha.. i am having mixed feelings now. i feel a bit touched. i feel a bit excited. i feel a bit shocked.

why?

touched because as we pray for my grandma, i know that God loves my grandma so much. i know i can trust God's will about the possibility of amputation of her leg. i know by Jesus' 39 stripes, she is healed.

excited because i prayed and my mom prayed, kneeling down the first time! i mean i knelt down b4, but with my mom, its the first time. it is so different. when you kneel down, you are crying out to God. you are saying,"i am useless, God. i cannot do alot. but God you are Lord and You can, through me."

shocked because i prayed in FLUENT CHINESE! i can speak chinese. no problem at all. but pray in chinese??? i cannot. even if i try my best, i will stutter, i will stop and think. but  I DID NOT! i prayed like a true blue chinese christian, dare i say. HAHA! the Holy Spirit filled me i know!

and shocked too, because we prayed right beside my sister in her room. haha. i cannot imagine we did that.

but well....thats not the point. my grandma. my grandma. God, we do not seek our will, but Yours alone. let her learn to trust and love You. she has already believed in You. but let her be baptised and let her really have a relationship with You through this.

GLORIFY YOURSELF LORD!
