I love God more than ever

today acting class was so fun..

in a grp of 6, we had to act out whatever show our lecturer shouted out. like if he shouts out "CSI", our group has to act out any scene from CSI and if he shouts "amazing race", our reactions have to be immediate and the scene has to change too.

so fun.lol.my grp did Manhunt, Amazing Race, CSI, American Idol, Heartlanders (where i shot a snatch thief for stealing my fren's wallet..it was really hilarious) haha..

ooo...gonna go sell coupons tmr. to earn some cash.and asking for an acting job for a video clip for my lecturer. good cash too.

but im giving the HongKong trip wif my sch christian frens a miss.SAD SAD SAD. i was supposed to go wif them la. but well.no time to raise money.i only need to raise 200 bucks.but so many projects.actually tot of going to sell coupons.haha.but cant.

i shared with 2 online frens abt the Gospel! prayed for them.and both of them became more receptive to the Gospel after a month. wooo..cool...

watch WAR OF THE WORLDS. wow...i like those sci fi destroy-the-earth kinda movie. really. though the plot sucks. cos its so hard to imagine that we would be attacked by aliens. hahaha.. well aliens are not Biblical.so forget it.

but those creatures were really merciless.they used OUR BLOOD to be fertilisers to grow some kinda thing. and these machines used LASER TO burst US into ashes in a second. whoah.and the machines used tentacles to capture human beings to put in their cages on the machines itself..and then the humans will just wait for "feeding time".

we are real weak.come to think of it.

we are so BOASTFUL, PRIDEFUL, daring to slander God, selfish, and think we are so great. but there are always things greater than us to just wipe us out.

like earthquakes, like typhoons, like God's wrath, like floods.

Psalms8:4 - What 'is' man that Thou rememberest him? The son of man that Thou inspectest him?

thats right, God..what are we but little selfish maggots, that You love us so much that Your eyes are upon us every night and day, that You collect all our tears in a bottle?

start loving God like He loves us, and sometimes know that we just need to shut up and be still, LISTEN to Him and know that He is God.

hmmm...for this week, i went airport twice with frens. once for homework, once for just hanging out.

airport is a real nice place. cooling, spacious, nice food, nice environment, cosy, nice scenery, new places. and these are just the building itself.

its nice cos we can get inspirations too. its nice cos we can dream dreams there...

its nice cos we can think about our future there. its nice cos I CAN imagine me going abroad with one whom i treasure.haha..go fly around.

 

hmmm...is God's grace limited? sometimes i wonder. God's grace is abundant and full. But can we say its limited? How can it be limited when God by His grace cleanse us of our sins throughout the ages till when He comes back?

but does it gives us a right to think we can be sinful christians? no. sometimes, maybe it is not cos that God's grace is limited. it is becos we rob ourselves of the grace. and we block out His grace. 

but of all...sometimes...we tend to forget that our God is a loving God. Not one who is angry and distant, but One Who knows our every every heart cry..and One who came to die for us.

 

now...which other gods can be like OURS? 

this entry will be basically about some of the Quran verses supporting the Bible.

the Quran is the equivalent of the Word of God to the muslims

Islam was founded by Muhammed about 570 years after Christ was raised to heaven.

The Quran cannot be taken by Christians as a truth book or as the Word of God. It only can be used for research. only the Bible is our Book of Truth.

the verses are :

1. "So, if you (Muhammad) are in doubt concerning that which We (God and the heavenly beings) have revealed unto you then ask these who are reading the Book (the Torah and the Injeel [Gospel,Christians]) before you. Verily the truth has come to you from thy Lord. So be not of those who doubt?' (Surat Yunus 10:94).

2. When Jesus came with Clear Signs [H]e said: "Now have I come to you with Wisdom and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) on which ye dispute: therefore fear Allah(GOD) and obey [M]e.

3. "Let the People of the Gospel (Christians) judge by what [God] hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what [God] hath revealed, they are (no better than) those who rebel" (Surah 5, Al Ma'idah, verse 47).

4. He said: "So (it will be): thy Lord saith `That is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us': it is a matter (so) decreed."
Chapter 19, Verse 21

5. Sura 3:45 (Al-Imran) - "The angels said to Mariam (Mary): '[God] bids you rejoice in a Word from Him. His name is al-Masih (Messiah), Isa (Jesus) the son of Mariam. He shall be noble in this world and in the next, and shall be favored by [God].'"

"Thereupon she pointed to him. They said, 'How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?' Jesus said, 'I am a servant of ALLAH (GOD). HE has given me the Book, and has made me a Prophet; 'And HE has made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and has enjoined upon me Prayer and almsgiving so long as I live; 'And HE has made me dutiful towards my mother, and has not made me arrogant and graceless; 'And peace was on me the day I was born, and peace will be on me the day I shall die, and the day I shall be raised up to life again.' That was Jesus, son of Mary. This is a statement of the truth concerning which they entertain doubt." -- Qur'an, Surah 19:30-35

And remember, God took a Covenant from the People of the Book(Christians), to make it known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it (Ali Imran 3:187).

 
"It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong)," (3:3).

 

all of us must remember that these verses are from the Quran, not the Bible. these verses do, to an extend confirm that our Bible and Christianity holds the truth.

 

next Quran verse to look at :  

 

Quran 4:156-159 "That they (Jews and non-believers) rejected Faith; That they (Jews and non-believers) uttered against Mary A grave false charge;  That they said (in boast):  'We (Jews and non-believers) killed Christ Jesus The son of Mary, The Messenger of Allah.'  But they (Jews and non-believers) killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them ( the Jews and non-believers), and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjunction to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.  Nay, Allah raised him up Unto Himself; and Allah Is Exalted in Power, Wise.  And there is none of the people of the book (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him  (Jesus) Before his death; And on the Day of Judgment He (Jesus) will be a witness Against them."

look at these Quranic verses in red...the Quran actually tells us Jesus was not crucified and did not die..but "allah" made it seemed like Jesus died and that that "allah" actually put another person on the cross.

now if "allah" did that, would he not be the greatest DECEIVER who has misled so many christians and eyewitnesses and historians?

so is that the person of "allah" that muslims believe in?

it cannot be becos from Christianity, we know and believe that God does not lie.

there are contradictions in the Quran on the person of God.i could source out more. but well...

Isaiah53:5 "But He was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on Him; and by His wounds we are healed. "

yes Jesus was crucified, for us, so that we may repent, and ask God for forgiveness

went to a "GENDER STEREOTYPE" workshop in my school.

do you noe that SEX and GENDER is different?

sex is the biological you. gender is what defines you being a boy or a ger whether thru culture, or behaviour etc etc. like a boy is "supposed not to cry" is a gender criteria, which is not true. lols.

ya.so they talked about how the girls are being misrepresented in the media, how the gender of girls is "SUPPOSED TO BE" in the media, and supposedly too in real life.

like: BIG BLUE EYES, FAIR FAIR SKIN (almost transparent), slim slim (until like bamboo..hmmm..thinking of someone?:x) then BLONDE HAIR..and always smiling and laughing to herself at a facial/body/skincare product.

yes.this is a gender stereotype of gers in the media. and alot of young gers are being TRICKED into believing that THIS (which i have described) is BEAUTY.what kinda crap is this. haha.

another stereotype: that gers are always inferior to males. always KNEELING DOWN in some sexy pose in magazines, always the housewives cooking and also have to juggle work, and also looking scared, shocked, or bimbotically in advertisements. 

the Bible in Genesis 1:18 says "And the Lord God said, 'It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him."

comparable! women are not inferior to men at all! and are not men's slaves! 

alot of non-christians, and even christians think that Christianity teaches a patriachal (a male dominion) system, where men LORD over women like masters to slaves. wrong.

we must read the Bible in context. as much as there are verses which says "wives must submit to husbands.." there are also verses which tells men "to love their wives dearly" and also to remind men that "MEN CAME FROM WOMEN".that without women, men are nothing.

by the way, God has a reason for wives to submit to husbands, not as in slaves but this is how a family will work at its OPTIMUM, at its best. and husbands are to be considerate too.and love their wives. its a give and take. 

we also have examples in the Bible which talks about great women leaders of God. have we missed that out too?

"unless the female race and male race grow in similar strength and develop in similar expanse with mutual respect (not femininism, or masculinity), like wings of a bird, then mankind will never soar to any greater heights than mistreating and misunderstanding each other."

now, note that i detest femininism. it is rebellion.  females should be comparable to men, jus as men shld be to women, NOT proving to better or putting down each other by compromising moral values.

remember gers, u do not need to be FAIR, TALL, SLIM, WITH BLUE EYES and to be a brainless model to be beautiful. these women u see in the magazines are products of products. and have become a victim of the media inaccuracy.

so today if you gers out there are thinking of wearing skimpily, think twice. for God told us to be modest in our dressing, not to control us, but to do contrary to what satan tells us to. 

and GUYS, start to look at gers as a whole human being, not jus by the parts. "oh her legs are so fat, oh her eyes are too small"

and gers, dun judge each other anymore. dun criticise each others' weight, looks etc. dun be a victim of the media.  

cheers to women out there who dare to be different, than to what the media says: "wear less, look pretty, and sell yourself"

and lust on "babes" and "dudes"?

or talk about whose boobs are huge? (sorry ah.but jus to hit straight to th e point.haha)

and STILL claim to be justifiably good? 

 

if God comes back tomorrow,

will you still pour your adoration on this someone who.

and to act in front of the someone who the not-so-your cool

be like a flamboyant fashion media fool? 

not realising you are just satan's tool? 

 

 if God comes back tomorrow,

will you stand with your chins high up

or cause your knees and His Altar to rub?

with holy hands will you lift up?

and to share in His victorious cup?

 

well for me, if God comes back tomorrow,

i would so wish i can stand to account my life,

to tell Him decadence of the world i walked by,

or how i soared with Him to the skies,

and of how i tried not to cross the line

 

now if God comes back NOW,

i will not be boasting about my blog

(which in any way i never gave it a thought),

like a trend some think its hot.

some tips when ur faith is challenged.

this entry might be useful when U (christian) are faced with questions from ur non-christian frens. 

questions ppl will usually ask and challenge abt ur faith:

QN1. "if God loves us so much, why must He send us to hell? if we don;t believe in Him, then He doesnt love us cos He will send us to hell right........?"

ANS: "yes no matter if u accept or not, God still loves U.how do we know? becos He already DIED ON THE CROSS FOR U. With Him on the Cross, THAT WAS ALL OF HUMANKIND'S 2ND CHANCE to go back to Him. and also remember, we ARE ALL SINNERS, WE cannot deny this.and we do not deserve to go to heaven, but God provided a way on the Cross. so how can we say that God does not love us? He did His part. its OUR turn now."

 

QN2. "Sorry ah, BUT i find it SOOOOOOOOOO hard to believe in SOMEONE or something i DO NOT see. so how can i believe in GOD whom i do not see?"

ANS: "but we all believe in ENERGY, which we do not see. we believe in AIR daily,we believe in heat, we believe in LOVE and TRUST for people which we do not see.we believe in HISTORY which we do not see wif our own eyes too. so why cant we believe in Jesus Christ who came to die on the Cross for us, and who love us and wants to take away our sins?" 

 

QN3. "if God loves the world, He would not have caused so much wars,diseases,earthquakes,unhappiness,starvation etcetcetc..so how can HE be a God i must believe in?"

ANS: "easy easy..wars are created by men.Men's greed(which is SIN), miscommunications, hunger for POWER (greed).Diseases are becos of the DETEORIATION of our human body due to sins like sexual immorality, like pollution, contamination of our resources etcetc. Diseases are MAN-MADE and MAN-CAUSED too. Our human body has deteoriated since the FALL OF ADAM when sin came into the world.(Genesis 3).over time, as we sin, our body becomes weaker. it is proven also that ancient people live longer too, becos of fresher air, cleaner resources etc. Famines are human caused because of POOR agriculture. There are more earthquakes also becos there are MORE activities and movements going on underneath the earth due to RISING GLOBAL WARMING. and also MORE AND INCREASING NUMBER OF earthquakes are a sign sometimes to warn people that our Saviour will soon be back"

 

QN4. "Why must we believe in Jesus Christ? I can just be a good person and go to heaven!"

ANS: "Ya, as much as we are trying to be good, we still are a sinner, and we still sin.(from lying, to being rebellious, to lust and murder) and with sin,and all PEOPLE with COMMON SENSE know that we cannot enter into a Holy Place called heaven if we have sins. It is only by the GIFT OF GOD that we can enter heaven, becos we can NEVER achieve God's standard of holiness. Only GOD can help us to achieve that." 

 

QN5. "I believe in God. but not the Christian way/Christian God."

ANS: "We do not believe in any religions or religious gods too. We believe in a TRUE God, Jesus Christ, and a true relationship with God Himself, and He is God of the UNIVERSE not god of any religion. We believe in a real God who answers our prayers, listens to us, makes a way for us to heaven, loves us by dying for us, comforts us etcetc. THE TERM CHRISTIANITY IS JUST A WAY FOR PEOPLE TO REGCONISE THE TRUE GOD."

and u take this chance to ask them back "so does the God you believe in listens to u and loves u that much?"

 

QN6. "My family are buddhists/taoists/catholics/watever. so im scared/worried/wan to obey parents/reluctant..(to accept Christ)"

ANS: "well, if today ur parents allow you TO be Christian, and that ur parents are christians, would you want? and would you GLADLY accept this Loving God?"
