my birthday

i better write it all down before i forget.

my 20th birthday was fabulous! haha.that day when i went to church, ok i knew that there was gonna be a celebration, but i din know that there was a twist to it. moreover, i din even noe my mom cooperated with my church frens to make it happen. haha. first time in my life she did that!

when i reach church that day, same thing, they pounced on me and sang happy birthday song la. but suddenly, they were not singing to me! oh no i was shocked. they actually turned towards another gal whose birthday was the same day as mine and they started singing, totally ignoring about me. erp. i tried to smile la of cos. but after that they turned back to me and started singing it for me too, with the cake ! haha..i was so pleasantly surprised.

then this dumb dumb james tan came to me and knelt down and gave me a bunch of fake flowers, which i lost later on. so sad. hahaha. oh i love that very day of my life. i received lotsa presents. from tweety bird, to self designed cards to christian ornaments. to a shirt (thank u xuanwen). love all of it

i think it was one or 2 weeks later that kongann kongsheng and shuen surprised me by saying they wan buy a guitar for me! haah. i was so happy but i rejected it. but then, they actually save up jus to buy forme! i was touched. i love the guitar. its sitting in my house now! and this 3 silly kids actually wanted to make a MTV out of my composed song and give it to me! so sweet.

haha! thank u all of my cell grp members. i love nissi the third. God thank u for all them , may You bless them!

every sms from nissi the third or church people brightens my day!!! haha. every Word in the Bible pulls me thru each day too. thank God.

thank u Kong Sheng,HuiJin, Jaslyn, WEIWEI, Shuen, Mun Chung and Kong Ann (though the last 2 ppl is i msged them first). haha. ok this is so dumb. did i miss out anyone? oh.and Bryan Loh.haha.j of all these..tsktsk..huijin richest, msg me the most. later my pay half of it go to my bills.hahaha.no la.THANX.

why am i writing this list anyway? hahaha. im SO BORED. but cool.RELAC ONE CORNER listen to planet shakers JAM. heex.

Our Messiah

recently i have been studying about Islam.

nono..im not gonna backslide. haha. i am hoping that i will be able to share with my Muslim brothers and sisters soon. if i am well equipped.

there is a lot of similarities between the 2. but yet, a lot of significant diffrences too, which draws us apart.

in the Quran, it specifically calls Jesus, The Messiah. im still looking into it. and that Jesus will be the One judging on Judgement Day in the Quran. sounds ok.

but the difference is, the Jesus in the Quran, was never crucified nor killed. but just a human prophet raised to God before He was gonna be killed.

this, is a major difference for us believing in our Saviour Jesus Christ.for if God had not died on the cross, our faith will be in vain. He is truly our Saviour, who came from the line of Abraham, King David.

HEBREWS9:28 - ...so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and He will apppear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.

the day it rained

friday was a special day.

i met kongann to go take neo print! at bp plaza. we din plan to swim. but i suggested! and we sneaked into huijin's condo hehheh..to swim. it was fun and dumb. and we did stupid things like acting like a whale splashing its tail into the water.

it was sunny.

then huijin came. we made her wait so long cos we went sauna

then it rained....(not becos hujin came) clouds darkened. it poured.

then kongann fell asleep on the bus.haha. i took a picture of that dek face.

then me and huijin went to geylang........to eat.

haha. nice prawn noodles! and huijin spent so much on food for both of us! tok abt enjoyment.

thans so much sister! for ur treats.and your endless cab ridings.er.

then we went "sight seeing". another world completely man. sad.

suddenly, it poured in my life.

(would you know my name, if i saw you in heaven? would it be the same?)

the song tears in heaven was created out of depression. eric clapton wrote it out of sorrow. it was pouring in his life. his son fell off the window ledge accidentally. sad.

A blonde, brunette and a red-head were trapped on a island 20 miles from shore. The red-head started swimming and got tired after 2 miles and turned around and swam back. Then the brunette started to swim and after 7 miles of swimming she turned back. The blonde jumped in and swam 17 miles got tired and turned back.

A lawyer and a blonde are sitting next to each other on a long flight from LA to NY. The lawyer leans over to her and asks if she would like to play a fun game. The blonde just wants to take a nap, so she politely declines and rolls over to the window to catch a few winks. The lawyer persists and explains that the game is really easy and a lot of fun. He explains" I ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5, and vice-versa." Again, she politely declines and tries to get some sleep. This catches the blonde's attention and, figuring that there will be no end to this torment unless she plays, agrees to the game.

The lawyer asks the first question. "What's the distance from the earth to the moon?" The blonde doesn't say a word, reaches in to her purse, pulls out a five dollar bill and hands it to the lawyer. Now, it's the blonde's turn. She asks the lawyer: "What goes up a hill with three legs, and comes down with four?"

The lawyer looks at her with a puzzled look. He takes out his laptop computer and searches all his references. He taps into the Airphone with his modem and searches the Net and the Library of Congress. Frustrated, he sends E-mails to all his coworkers and friends he knows. All to no avail. After over an hour, he wakes the blonde and hands her $500. The blonde politely takes the $500 and turns away to get back to sleep.

The lawyer, who is more than a little miffed, wakes the blonde and asks, "Well, so what IS the answer!?" Without a word, the blonde reaches into her purse, hands the lawyer $5, and goes back to sleep.

The officer says, "Wait here at this bus stop for the number 54 bus. It'll take you right there."
The blonde thanks the officer and he drives off.
Three hours later the police officer comes back to the same area, and sure enough, the blonde is still waiting at the same bus stop. The officer gets out of his car and says, "Excuse me, but to get to the Parliament House, I said to wait here for the number 54 bus. That was three hours ago. Why are you still waiting?"
The blonde says, "Don't worry, officer, it won't be long now. The 45th bus just went by!"

Faithful God, Everlasting Father

Dear Bloggie and friends,

u noe wat. these few days, i have been travelling along the north east MRT line to go for lunch.

first it was Potong Pasir, then Farrer Park then Serangoon. its so fun to lunch alone sometimes and to go to unfamiliar places. i saw Maris Stella (this is the color of Kong Sheng school logo on his shirt and pants.it was supposd to be blue..err...)boys in Serangoon there, so i thought i would see Kong Sheng, but i did not.Dumb.

Farrer Park is full of temples and idolatry activities.i walked in one temple to pray(yes prayer walk for our Lord Jesus Christ) to cast down strongholds. the only thing i like about temples is the cultural, historical value and the architechure wise. yea. nothing more. i hate idolatry.

had to compile a whole lists of international and national events of all genres.SIAN. haha.

i just realised i just walked out of depression. normally u dun realise it when u have ya noe. scary. i feel better now. i go into depression for no good reasons. i guess this time its work. haha. thank God i'm not suicidal.

Lynn's grandpa passed away. life is fragile. treasure it.

my friend, Bryan Ong finally received Christ on his own after i evangelized to him everytime i see him in school in Ngee Ann. i did not do much. i taught him guitar and Christian Songs. and God touched him. now my friend wants to compose songs for God! he is ssuch a cool dude. but well, evangelism is about life too, its about touching people's life with the Power of God. and getting to noe my fren a bit more.

thank u my family (Lim Sze Ling, Lim Keng Keong, Soh Gout Hong or Soh Ah Hong..hahaha) for being a bunch of jokers sometimes, and letting me forget about troubles.

thank u kong ann for bringing joy, sadness and abit of meaning into my life.

thank u hui jin for smsing me almost everyday of my work and ur treats.

thank u kong sheng as my disciple and my ex skating friend and teacher.

thank u weiwei for making me laugh in my most troubled times.(really, when i'm really really sad, i see her face, i laughed)

thank u jaslyn for msging me on msn now and then during work.

thank u shuen for being so dumb and make me laugh.

thank u lynn for guiding me in Christ.

thank u piao di, andy ong for linking me on ur blog and being my piao di. haha.

thank u nana for ur endless complaints and song-singing sessions. (she wont know i'm writing these..shh..heh)

supposedly...

today today....

my brother, tam kong ann, was supposed to come look for me during my lunch break.

then wait for me until i knock off.(as i suggested to him.haha)and play with my laptop at starbucks until i come.then go dinner.

was supposed to la.then aunty found out.oops.she is strict with his going out.so too bad.but i understand la

well..they are going back malaysia.another six days b4 i can see kong ann.SIX DAY WAR.tokking abt six day war..who knows wat it is abt? hehheh.who can answer shall receive a kiss from me...like (duh). i dun wan my lips to rot.nah.

shld be meeting weiwei (notice her name always in pink) today then.l

 AND YES!

i did meet weiwei.we went to my friend's church, Tabernacle of Joy. the sermon was awesome. it was about Peter stepping out of the boat and walking on water after Jesus commanded him to.

it was about my comfort zone.

 frankly speaking, for the past 3 weeks, i have been trying to find God. i read my bible evryday, i prayed and tried with my human knowledge to understand His will. but all failed. Bible says "for if it is of human origin, it will fail..."

and i did fail..terribly..and today God assured me thru the speaker, the person who prayed for me....that He is always there and i need not search for Him. He revealed to me that i had to leave my comfort zone because He had greater things for me to accomplish with Him.

God made me realise how short sighted i was. Jesus Christ spoke to me directly: "be patient child, wait and hope for Me...and you will see that my promises never fail..."

 

yes...even if it will take me my lifetime, i will wait and hope for Jesus Christ my Lord, my Saviour, my Shelter, and my Help in this time of need... 

i hope whoever is reading this, YOU will be encouraged to leave your comfort zone today...and to hope and wait for Jesus Christ all your life.. and be encouraged now!
